Attorney Ryan J. Lupia

After the events of 9/11, Ryan left college and joined the United States Navy right here from the Treasure Coast. Ryan served his country from 2002 to 2008 as a Naval Helicopter Aircrewman and Combat Search and Rescue Swimmer. (SAR)

During his service, he completed two major wartime deployments in support of Operation Enduring Freedom and Operation Iraqi Freedom. He was deployed with SEAL Team 2 for security operations during the 2004 Olympics in Greece and later served attached to the USS John C. Stennis (CVN-74) air wing during combat operations in the Middle East. Ryan was also stationed in Bahrain and Kuwait. He accumulated over 1,000 flight hours in the Sikorsky H-3 helicopter and provided Executive Transport and security for high-ranking military officials, including members of the Joint Chiefs of Staff transiting to and from the Pentagon.

Following his service, he earned his undergraduate degree from The University of San Diego and his Juris Doctor from St. Thomas University School of Law. He then practiced law for years defending the interests of billion-dollar companies, as well as advocating for the personal legal rights of individuals. Recently, he acted as the top legal advisor on a broad spectrum of corporate, commercial, regulatory, and government contracting matters for a government contracting firm. Ryan has managed high-stakes litigation, negotiated complex FAR/DFARS contracts, and provided strategic counsel on compliance and risk mitigation across governmental construction and federal acquisition sectors.

In 2022, Ryan founded Lupia Law in Stuart, Florida. As a veteran-owned and operated law firm — one of only a handful in the nation — Ryan brings the same honor, discipline, courage, and commitment from his military service and corporate legal career to every client he represents.
